Terms of Use and Sale

These Terms govern your use of https://setupdoctrine.com/ (the “Site”) and your purchase of digital products from Setup Doctrine (“Setup Doctrine”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, browsing the Site or buying a product, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated, and all Products are sold, by Setup Doctrine. Contact: info@setupdoctrine.com. Email is our support channel; we aim to reply within 14 days.

2. Definitions

• Products — digital educational materials made available on the Site, including trading strategy guides, documents, checklists, templates and related files.
• Account — the personal account you create to access the Site and your purchases.
• Subscription — paid, automatically renewing access to the Products included in the plan you choose, for as long as the Subscription is active.
• Lifetime Access — access bought with a one-time payment that does not depend on renewals and lasts for as long as the Site operates.
• Opened — a Product is opened when it has been viewed, displayed, streamed, unlocked or downloaded, or when its access link or file has been delivered and activated through your Account.
• Consumer — a natural person acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

3. Accounts

1. You must give a name, a valid email address and a password to register.
2. Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity in your Account.
3. Tell us immediately at info@setupdoctrine.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. One Account is for one person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
5. We may suspend or close an Account that breaches these Terms, is used fraudulently, or is used to redistribute Products.

4. Orders and payment

1. Plans, Product descriptions and prices are shown on the Site, in USD. Any VAT is shown at checkout.
2. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we email you an order confirmation.
3. Subscriptions renew automatically. A Subscription is charged at the start of each billing period shown at checkout (for example monthly or yearly) and renews at the then-current price until you cancel.
4. You can cancel a Subscription at any time in your Account or by emailing info@setupdoctrine.com. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period already paid, and that period is not refunded.
5. If we change a Subscription price, we will email you at least 14 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
6. Lifetime Access is paid once and does not renew.
7. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example for suspected fraud, a pricing error, or where the sale would be unlawful in your country. If we cancel after payment, we refund in full.
8. Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause access until it succeeds.

5. Delivery and access

1. Products are delivered digitally through your Account, normally right after payment is confirmed.
2. If you have no access within 24 hours, email info@setupdoctrine.com and we will restore access or refund you.
3. Subscription: you can access the included Products only while your Subscription is active. When it ends or is not renewed, access is removed and the content is hidden from your Account. It becomes available again if you subscribe again.
4. Lifetime Access: the Products it covers stay available in your Account without renewal payments, for as long as the Site operates.

6. Licence and permitted use

1. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Products you have access to online, through your Account on the Site, for your own private, non-commercial trading and study.
2. You may not:
   • copy, publish, upload, resell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise distribute any Product or part of it;
   • share your Account credentials or access links;
   • use a Product to create a competing course, guide, signal service, newsletter, paid community or other commercial product;
   • use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download or mirror the Site;
   • remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks or identifiers in a Product.
3. All content on the Site, including Products, texts, strategy guides, charts, images, videos, the Setup Doctrine name and logo, and the Site’s design, belongs to Setup Doctrine or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you. You may not download, copy, save, share or distribute any content from the Site, free or paid, including Products you have access to.
4. A breach of this section lets us end your licence and Account without refund and pursue other legal remedies.

7. Refund policy

1. Products are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Because they can be consumed in full at once, a Product counts as consumed as soon as it is opened.
2. Before purchase you must give express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that opening a Product ends your right of withdrawal. This is a mandatory, unticked checkbox at checkout, and your consent is stored with your order (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)).
3. Accordingly:
   • Nothing opened: an EU/EEA Consumer may withdraw from a new Subscription or a Lifetime Access purchase within 14 days of the order confirmation, without giving a reason, for a full refund, provided no Product has been opened. Email info@setupdoctrine.com using the form in Annex A or any clear statement. We refund within 14 days, to the original payment method.
   • Opened: once any Product has been opened, the payment is final. Our systems record the first access to each Product in each Account.
4. Subscription renewal payments are not refundable. Cancelling stops future renewals, as described in section 4.4.
5. We refund even after opening if:
   • the Product is materially not as described;
   • the Product is corrupted, incomplete or inaccessible and we cannot fix it in reasonable time;
   • you were charged twice or in error;
   • mandatory consumer law requires it.
6. We do not refund because a strategy did not produce the results you hoped for, you changed your mind after reading, you already owned similar material, you forgot to cancel before a renewal, or you no longer have time to use the Products.
7. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may lead to Account suspension. Please email us first; we would rather resolve it directly.

8. Risk disclaimer — please read carefully

1. Products are educational material only. They are not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any financial instrument.
2. We are not a licensed investment firm, broker, portfolio manager or financial adviser. We do not consider your finances, goals, experience or risk tolerance.
3. Trading carries a high level of risk. Leveraged products can lose more than your initial deposit. You can lose all the money you invest.
4. No result is guaranteed. Any performance figure, backtest, win rate or example trade in a Product is hypothetical or historical. Past and backtested performance do not reliably predict future results. Outcomes depend on execution, discipline, risk settings, broker conditions, costs, slippage, capital and markets.
5. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their results. Consider advice from an independent, licensed financial adviser before trading.
6. You confirm that trading the instruments discussed is lawful where you live, and you will follow applicable law and your broker’s terms.

9. Availability of the Site

We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend it for maintenance, updates or security. We may change, add or withdraw Products, including those included in a Subscription. Customers with Lifetime Access keep access to the Products it already covers, subject to section 5.4.

10. Limitation of liability

1. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer rights.
2. Subject to 10.1, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits or opportunities, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss from using the Site or any Product.
3. Subject to 10.1, our total liability for a Product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
4. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of your broker, exchange, data provider or internet provider.

11. Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to spread malware, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, or post unlawful, defamatory, infringing or abusive content. We may remove content and end access for a breach.

12. Suspension and termination

1. You may close your Account at any time by emailing info@setupdoctrine.com. Closing it cancels any active Subscription and ends access to all Products, including Lifetime Access.
2. We may suspend or end access immediately for a material breach, in particular of sections 3, 6 and 11. No refund is due where termination follows your breach.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. The version in force when you bought a Product governs that purchase. For material changes, we will email registered users at least 14 days in advance.

14. Miscellaneous

1. If any provision is invalid, the rest stays in force.
2. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
3. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the order confirmation form the entire agreement for your purchase.
4. You may not assign your rights. We may assign ours to a successor without reducing your rights.

Annex A — Model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only to withdraw from a purchase of a Product you have not opened.
